Three Weeks That Shaped My Builder Mindset
A personal reflection on nearly three weeks across the magicblock hackahouse in dubai and solana breakpoint 2025 in abu dhabi learning to balance business and technical thinking while building alongside an inspiring community.

I didn't fully realize how long the journey was until it ended. almost three weeks passed quietly, starting with 10 days at the magicblock hackahouse in dubai, followed by a few days in abu dhabi, and ending with solana breakpoint 2025, which itself lasted three packed days. rather than feeling like separate events, everything blended into one continuous experience.
The magicblock hackahouse set the tone early. it was intense, but in a way that felt purposeful. mornings were focused on business thinking, understanding the bigger picture, and learning how to position what we build in the real world. afternoons went deep into technical sessions, where ideas stopped being abstract and slowly turned into working code. the balance between strategy and execution felt just right. during this time, i met many new people builders from different backgrounds, different paths, but with a shared curiosity and hunger to learn. magicblock prepared everything with great care, from the hackahouse space itself to the food, creating an environment where we could fully focus on learning and building.
One personal detail that meant a lot to me was sharing a room with @trankhac_vy throughout the entire journey. every night, after long days of sessions and events, we talked. sometimes about building, sometimes about work, sometimes about life. through the way he explained things and openly shared his experiences, i learned a lot not just technically, but also in how to think, how to stay grounded, and how to approach the builder journey with patience and clarity. those late night conversations quietly became one of the most valuable parts of the trip for me.
After the hackahouse ended, we moved to abu dhabi and spent a few days there before breakpoint officially began. those days felt like a gentle transition rather than a pause. we explored the city, continued conversations that started earlier, and had time to reflect on what we had learned. it made the whole journey feel more complete and less rushed.
Solana breakpoint itself lasted three days, but the energy was incredibly concentrated. meeting the @superteam-vietnam members in person was one of the most meaningful parts of the experience. after mostly interacting online, seeing everyone face to face felt much more real and human. there were many side events with different vibes, and one small detail that stood out was the colosseum having a dedicated space where people could simply sit down and code. the main stage talks offered valuable insights into where the ecosystem is heading, both the opportunities and the challenges. and yes, i also somehow came back with a very questionable amount of merch.
I am especially grateful to @0xk2_ and @superteam-vietnam for sponsoring the trip, @trankhac_vy for guiding and supporting me throughout the entire journey, and @superteam-vietnam for creating such an incredible and supportive community. being surrounded by the right people made the experience far more meaningful than any single talk or session.
There is still a long road ahead, and there is still a lot for me to learn. but these three weeks added fuel in a quiet and steady way. they reminded me why building matters, and why the mindset you carry and the people you build alongside are just as important as the product itself.
